Isn't it considered rude already to call after 7:30pm for no good reason at all?
Here's a little something so that all of you know where I'm coming from.
It's already past 10 in the EVENING and suddenly the phone rings.
Most of the people here are already asleep and I'm still up trying to understand this html book that I have so that I can utilize it. So in knowing the former, I head up 2 flights of stairs to reach the phone worrying that it might be some emergency call.
Lo and behold. It's an old acquaintance of mine calling to ask if I had the number of a person she clearly knows I don't even speak to anymore. After doing so she attempts to bring up idle chatter.
Annoyed, upset and what have you, I told her I couldn't stay on the phone since it was late and also because I feel the glares directed at me since my uncle woke up because of the ringing phone.
My issue here is that I already told her about a thousand times (Exaggerated but you get my point) that she shouldn't call at such a late hour. I was so tempted to tell her that it's part of basic manners and phone etiquette but I stopped myself as to not embarrass her.
But man oh man this is just irritating.
So remember kids, if you don't want people thinking about you like what I'm doing right now DON'T call past 7:30pm unless it's an emergency.
